This thread is a brief overview of TDI information for Santos/Bruce to give out the URL to students in tomorrow's demonstration at Morton's Automotive.

There are 3 basic types of Volkswagen TDI engines:

  1. VE = "Verteiler" or distributor/divider. Older (typically 1996-2003) that use relatively low pressure mechanical pump to inject fuel via ball-and-spring injectors.
