Where did you get that camera from? The part number 4m0980556a is a camera that's normally parameterised for an Audi A5. Can you check the back of the camera (trunk release) for the part number. Thanks.

This is the configuration that K-electronic has sent me:

Changes are made in ADDRESS 19 "Diagnostic Interface".
- Connect address 19 "Diagnostic interface"
- Select installation list
o Activate address 6C "Rear view camera" and confirm
Save it and leave the control unit

Changes are made in ADDRESS 09 "Zentralelektrik"
- Connect address 09 "Central electrics"
- Select coding
o Select byte 35
 Set bit 4 from 0 to 1

Changes are made in ADDRESS 6C "rear view camera".
- Connect address 6C "Rear view camera"
- Select coding
Code this controller as described in your VCP / VCDS diagnostic system, depending on vehicle equipment.
We deliver this control unit already pre-parameterized as well as pre-coded.
Complete this already existing "standard coding" with the respective vehicle equipment.
Example codes:
Byte 04 - Bit 0 blocked to 1 = AHK
Byte 04 - Bit 1 to 1 = Parking aid front + rear installed
Byte 04 - Bit 1 to 0 = Rear parking aid installed
Byte 04 - Bit 2 to 1 = Parking Assist installed
Byte 07 - Bit 0 to 1 = Guides across

Changes are made in DIRECTION 5F "Information Electronics".

Select adjustment
Change the following adjustment values:
Car_Funktion_List_BAP_Gen2_VPS: set to "activated" Car_Funktion_List_BAP_Gen2_VPS: to set MSG-bus "terminal 15"

Save and click on "Restart control unit". With the "Restart control unit" or "ECU reset" function of your VCDS / VCP diagnostic system, the multimedia system reboots - the changes take effect only after this restart
