2010 transporter van DPF problem

Hello. Wondering if anyone can help me out.
I have a 2010 VW transporter van 2.0 common rail diesel.

The DPF Light is on all the time, just the DPF light no coil light or engine warning light.

Using VCDS or VAS5052 there are no faults stored in any system.

Checked the soot volume and ash volume. Both coming up 0g

The van drives fine on road, no lack of power etc but DPF warning light on all the time.

I have tried to carry out regeneration while standing using the VAS5052 to begin with. But over half way through the process it cuts out for some reason.

Tried to regen using VCDS, followed the instructions but it's doesn't seen to raise the revs when regen is active.

I think the regen has been activated and light won't go out until it's complete ?
Does any one know if there is a way around this or can anyone help me in the right direction.

We removed the DPF and had it tested by a specialist and they said it's spot on and it wasn't worth them cleaning it from their results.
We have also fitted a brand new genuine VW exhaust pressure sensor.

Also the exhaust temp sensor closest to the turbo was reading odd sometimes, so we replaced that aswell again a genuine vw brand new item.

Have you tried clearing fault codes despite the fact that there aren't any?

Has the ECU been remapped? The fact that the fault light is on but there are no DTCs makes me wonder if someone did a hack-job with a remap.

Another (relatively remote) possibility is that you have a wonky cluster that's just turning that fault light on for no good reason.

Hello,

I have same problem. The car arrived to my garage with P2458 DTC and DPF icon was ON MIL was ON and spring was flashing. No power. I knew it delete this fault and icons OFF but the DPF icon light now. The car work fine has power but the DPF light ON. The carbon mass 0.1g. I tried the DPF regeneration but did not start the regeneration. I updated the software by ODIS but no solution. I drove the car about 50km but the DPF light stay ON. I removed the battery for one night but the problem stay.

Can somebody help me for solution?

No I have not. But only P2458 was there.
