May be I could help ??

Yes for the time support ... I can understanding this...

Is the vcdscripter function only with a vcds EN or DE ? or in a vcds FR there is into the program the same command in EN language ?
I have seen too that vcdscripter not find install of vcds FR in the laptop and it explain by the file directory of intall :

vcds FR : file directory like c:\....VCDS-FRM
vcds EN : file directory like c:\....VCDS

I have test if rename file directory VCDS-FRM to VCDS and the vcdscripter find vcds but ...are the internal commands are the same ?

If not I know it possible to install the two soft (EN and FR....)

No. Completely different.

The automation library relies on text (labels) displayed in the VCDS Software, that are totally different in a french version.

VCDScripter supports german and english VCDS version.

Used it a few days ago and worked fine with 20.4.1

There is no provision in VCDS for that, so I don't see how VCDScripter could do it.

i can't believe this part of the forum isn't more popular. i haven't downloaded VCDScripter yet but plan on it when i find the time.

the antivirus software i use (bitdefender) gave me all kinds of grief when i tried to download it the first few times. it would give a warning and save a corrupted zip folder that couldn't be opened. so... i reported it to them as a false positive. they reviewed it and added it to the next update.
downloaded with no issue after that.

Hi all,

in the meantime, the code ownership of VCDScripter went over to the guys of Auto-Intern with @AINils and the guys.
I became the father of two wonderful kids and I didn't see any time to keep on maintaining the tool.

Maybe you could explain your Problem with more details, and also what kind of Interface you own. Also OS and some other information as "cannot run" isnt a real fault

He has a HEX-V2, purchased within that last year.
