Disable factory handsfree through VCDS

Long story short, I have a Dension Pro BT. I would like to disable the handsfree from Audi and go with the Dension as the two conflict for A2DP streaming upon startup. Removing the fuse is almost perfect as it gives me access to my phone through the steering wheel controls as desired. HOWEVER, the Sirius radio is also fused through this same one!!! I would like to keep the satellite as I purchased the adapter harness to retain it when the Dension was installed. I have tried:

1) Turning BT off in adaptations in 77
2) Changing steering wheel type code in 16
3) Unchecking 77 telephone in the 19 CAN installation list

All still yields "INSERT PHONE" when mode is pushed.

Any chance of an Auto-Scan so we can see the current coding ?

I've seen it turned on before so turning it off shouldn't be too big a deal - I think.
As I recall it's actually in module 07, but depends on the vehicle.

Well those label files are encrypted so I don't have access to them...

What I'd suggest is removing power from and using a MOST loop tool 4E0 973 802 to ring out the 77 module as though it wasn't installed.
There may be additional coding required, but only the Ross-Tech folks can tell you for sure.

For CAN bus, you could get away with that.

If the device uses the MOST optical bus, each node in the ring depends on its adjacent neighbors in the ring for proper communication, similar to Token Ring in the bad old days of PC networking. The device Jake linked to takes a MOST device out of the physical network topology in a proper way, re-joining the network at that point as if that module didn't exist.

You can find the module [assuming my assumption that it is separate is correct] in the factory repair manual on erWin.
Might also want to ask on AudiWorld as I'm finding lots of discussion on BT and Dension in the A3 forum.

Edit: After more searching I'm pretty sure it's under the carpet in the driver side footwell, but check that before you start remodeling

Weird... have had several people say that lately.
