I'm in progress of retrofitting kessy to my euro Passat B7 2011. I've already fitted everything needed except for the rear bumper antenna.
Yesteday I finally wired up the rear doors and fitted the kessy door handles. Using golfi_vend's custom label file for 0x46, one can enable the left/right rear door handle sensors individually, I first completed the right side and tried to enable it. The result - all door handles inop and fault code logged in 0x46 along the lines of rear right door handle no communication. After unticking the bit for the rear right handle everything was back to normal.
Not wanting to get bogged down with verifying wire continuity between the door connector and handle connector on the right side, I wired up the left side as well. Then I ticked the bits for both rear handles. Lo and behold, no more fault codes besides the rear bumper antenna but the rear door handles still won't lock or unlock the car while the front handles do.
