Headlight Out Error When Using LEDs

I have a 2003 VW Jetta wagon with LED headlights. This is the MK4/ALH model/engine. The dash throws an error of headlights not working with the symbol blinking. This prevents me from setting a speed on cruise control. I have to turn off the lights to set cruise control. Is there a way to disable this headlamp check/error with VCDS? Or is my only option to try and find a different way to wire my lights?

I've thought about installing load resistors hooked up to a relay so I can flick them on to correct the error when I want to set cruise control instead of turning off the lights, which probably freaks out other nearby drivers every time I do it. But this is a last resort tactic if I can't find a better solution.

I don't think there's any way to change that on an Mk.4, but please post an Auto-Scan so people can see exactly what modules are installed in your car.

Yeah.... The lights in that car are not computer-controlled. I'm not sure how it does bulb-out checks...
