Just to share my experience. "Faulty license plate lamps" warning was on without reason and fault code "01504 - Bulb for License-Plate Light (X)
57-00 - Electric Circuit Failure" stored in module 09. Bulbs ok and correct ones, all contacts clean, wiring tested and no faults found. Measured current consumption in circuit - approx 0,6A. Suspected part was module 09 and it is confirmed. Yesterday replaced module and warning is gone.

I wonder if you have actually bottomed the fault. 0.6A feels fractionally low; and maybe your previous Central Electrics module gave an 'Electric Circuit Failure' fault because it was just borderline. Two 5W lamps draw about 800mA with the engine off.

I thought about it and added one more 5 watt lamp in parallel to test it - no changes - warning on and fault present ;)
