Can you explain how you did this? I tried doing as you said and put your file in the User directory (overwrote the existing one), and did the following;

- choose module 8 (auto HVAC)
- Go to adaptions
- choose "cut-in behaviour"
- select active AND check soft reset
- press ok

I get the same errors as in my original post in this thread.
It sounds like you missed out the most important step:

All needed is a switch to the engineering session (4F) prior to changing the value.

I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I can't figure out what it is.

I'm using a Micro-Can cable and the latest version of the software. When I enter module 8 and select security access and enter the code S12345 I get an error saying the value should be a 5 digit number. If I enter 12345 it gives an error something along the lines of not supported.

Something went wrong with the label file, if you didn't get the balloon tip with the S12345 login. Can you post an Auto-Scan excerpt of the HVAC module (08)?

That's correct, I do not get a balloon tip.

Is this the scan you need?

Yup, that is correct. But it doesn't seem to use the correct label:

Address 08: Auto HVAC (J255) Labels:| 5G0-907-044.clb
This should be User\5G0-907-044.clb
Can you please double check, that you have the file from my previous post in your C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Labels\User directory (assuming you installed it to the default path).

Yes I have the file you posted earlier and it's in the user folder, and called 5G0-907-044.clb

I have just done a re-scan and it now shows the Labels as "* None". I did the previous scan I posted above about a month ago;

A scan shows Labels as "* None", anything else I can try, or is the clb file incorrect?
