2016 VW GTI Autobahn

What wasn't done:
1. Full backup from auto scan of all modules. Like it tells you to do, and I didn't listen. :banghead:

What was done:
1. ABS adaptation and coding to disable and change ESC, ASR, Starting Vibration, and XDS settings.
2. Reset all adaptation settings (assumed this would reset all to defaults). This is where the issues started I presume.
3. Reset all to factory defaults (noticed after, not sure the difference).
4. Reverted all settings found in the debug logs.
5. Unplugged VCDS and power cycled the car.
6. Drove a couple miles, stopped, power cycled the car.

What's wrong:
1. TPMS and ESC error's on MFD.

Goal:
Reset the module to factory defaults.

The fault codes

Car is flashed, fully built. Service Manager is a real douche as well @ VW Folsom. Tried denying a taillight because I put a bulb in it once, when it built up condensation despite there being a TSB. Had to build a JIG with water droplets to prove my case.

Still reading all over, and found THIS thread. Would make sense since I reset all adaptations. First attempt, error is still there. In case I missed a step, going to give it another shot.

have a look in your c:\whatever\ross-tech\vcds\debug folder and in the codinglog.txt and adaptationlog.txt. there you can find the values from where to where they changed.

okay well next step would be a full autoscan I guess
one error could be solved by doing a basic setting of the G85 steering angle sensor, the other two, about the TPMS display, I'm not sure.

Thanks for the replies. Once the Steering Angle Senser was calibrated, the other errors went away by driving a short distance.

All I needed to do, was move the steering wheel lock to lock after running the basic setting as outlined in the article I linked.
