Mother Nature can be a rotten bitch if scorn huh?
Looks like the land of pickup sticks, but feel bad for those people down there.

Switching the S5 to a diesel seems bizarre, diesel is getting a lot of bad press due to the higher particulate emissions (even with a DPF) and many large European cities are either planning to restrict the use of diesels or charging them much high 'congestion' charges.
Yeah, but they have lower C02 emissions compare to a gasoline engine, and IIRC, cars sold my any particular manufacturer in the EU must meet some ever-decreasing fleet average for this?

But if people don't buy them, because the cost/difficulty/impossibility of using them in towns, then the actual fleet average CO2 emissions won't drop even if the 'paper fleet average CO2 emissions' do?

Using only CO2 emissions to calculate fleet averages shows how different parts of Government don't talk to each other (no surprise there!) :banghead:

Just compare Neptune loss of shield in atmosphere by too much heat and the evaporation of water, no?

What we know about the mysterious vaping-linked illnesses and deaths
I pretty much guarantee that this is caused by an inappropriate dilutent used "cut" MJ extracts. The THC vaping crowd has this silly notion that one can judge the purity/potency of the liquid by its viscosity (the higher, the better). So someone came up with a new dilutent last year based on tocopheryl acetate, thinking "that's just vitamin E, it should be benign". Well lots of things that are benign when applied topically or ingested aren't so benign when inhaled, and that includes anything that has resembles a lipid, which this stuff does.

Anyway, this isn't a problem for anyone who vapes nicotine liquids as a replacement for a tobacco smoking habit.

Hard to say how this will all shake down, but all regulations distort the market and inevitably have unintended consequences....

So does doing nothing too, indeed has consequences, no? ...........

Smoking anything can't be any good & I worry about all the brake clean, solvent/volatile chemicals paints and who knows WTF other materials from car exhaust in shops through out life while diagnosing & we have all ingested as being in auto industry.

This isn't a scientific test purely anecdotal.... my uncle worked as a car mechanic all his working life (from age 14) and is still going strong with apparently no workplace related problems and he's just about to have his 89th birthday.
