If the comment from VDA is correct, and not just scaremongering, then seriously large new subsidies will be needed for EVs as currently their upfront cost is simply too high for a significant percentage of new vehicle purchasers in Europe to be able to afford them.

I count myself amongst them, I considered an EV as the replacement for my second vehicle but the lease costs were at least twice what I am paying for the new Toyota Aygo I took possession of last month and that ruled out an EV as a financially viable option.

Yeah well I sell brand new factory parts bought right from the OEM and they threatened to sue me on parts they made money on?

Than I sell parts that are brand new OEM & genuine from the factory and simply because I sticker them up to ID for warranty later etc. if needed & people say nope its not new because my sticker is added, WTF?
