The two are not mutually exclusive. Did it originate in bats? Probably. But it's a known fact that the Wuhan lab doing experiments on corona viruses that originated in bats and stored many varieties of such viruses. Is it "man-made"? I guess it depends on how you define that term. Did it escape from the Wuhan lab? Seems entirely plausible, especially when you consider stuff like this:
I don't think it makes any difference; insurance companies are not gonna pay "business interruption" policies either way. Businesses were not closed by any sort of natural disaster, but rather by government edict.
