I have a HEX-Net tool that i have had for a few years. It failed during a firmware update.
In VCDS selecting USB then TEST. I get:
{
Port status: OK
Interface: Found!
Type: HEX-NET
Version:
CB: 0.4643.5
FW: 1.71
WiFi: 0472
Status: Questionable
CAN: Testing, K1: NO POWER, K2: NO POWER
VBat: 0.01v VIgn: 0.02V
}
However, when i click on config i get the following error
{
Unable to open interface, it may be in use by another program.
If you see this message repeatedly, you may want to try disabling startup programs.
}
OS windows 11. Tried on multiple laptops.
Disabled firewall and virus protection.
lights on the tool are steady yellow with a flashing green light on the right
I have tried via wifi NET of which the test option recognizes port though in config option it fails.
Please advise.
Is there a force firmware update or some way to salvage this?
