This is an example of a UDS Level controller when found in the Auto-Scan results:
This procedure is applicable for follow vehicles.
Audi A6 (4G2) 2011 -->
Audi A7 (4GA) 2012 -->

Standard Ride Height in millimeter as per repair manual, use the correct PR-Code

[Coding]
- If there is an 'incorrectly coded' fault in the [34-Level Control], the controller will need to be coded first, before 'The Procedure' below can be completed!
- If you have saved an [Auto-Scan] of the vehicle prior to the coding being lost, you can search the scan and copy/paste the coding into the controller.
- In the unlikely event you have lost coding, create a new Ross-Tech forum thread in the Car Repair Support section and let's see if we can help.
Special Notes, warnings, etc
- Do not at any point in time select Basic Settings [*IDE01475*] [Resetting of all adaptations]. If you choose to do so, DTC B2013 will be stored and you will need to make an appointment with your local dealer! B2013: No End-of-Line Programming will prevent a successful calibration.
- Make sure you perform and save an [Auto-Scan] before beginning any work
- If you are attempting to alter the ride height use this procedure at your own risk!
- If you copy or post this procedure and/or any of its contents anywhere else, please be respectful and give credit where credit is due
[The Procedure]

- Re-adapt Adaptive Suspension to default position -
------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisites
- Ignition [ON], Use a Battery maintainer
- Vehicle on level surface
- No persons or gear in Vehicle
- Fuel Tank 60% or more
- Nothing under vehicle
- Door are to remain shut during the entire procedure
- No faults in the [34-Level Control] controller other than "No or incorrect Basic Settings"
Using the MMI (under [Car]/[Service] ) the following needs to be set-
- Audi Drive Select (under Car menu) set to [Auto]
or
- Automatic Drive Program set to [Auto] (Bentley)
1) Select - [34-Level Control]
Press [Security Access-16] enter - [20103], [Do it!]
2) Select - [Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [*IDE03804*] Deactivating loading mode- Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to end, [Finished correctly/Not Running], then press [Stop]
3) Select - [Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [*IDE03751*] [Activate level control]- Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to end, [Finished correctly/Not Running], then press [Stop]
4) Choose - [*IDE03761*] [Delete calibration for level control] - Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to end, [Finished correctly/Not Running], then press [Stop]
5) Choose - [*IDE03802*] [Set reference level]- Press [Go!]
- Note, basic Settings [*IDE03939*] [Start up to reference level (production)] should NOT be used.
- Wait for basic Settings to end, [Finished correctly/Not Running], then press [Stop], [Go Back] (vehicle should level it's self wait till it stops)
6) Measure the ride height, in millimeters, from the center of the wheel to the edge of fender, do this for all four wheels and record the values, this will set the ride height to the factory level.
Notes:
Select [Adaptation - 10]
Choose from the drop down menu and enter the [New value] recorded value for each of the wheels below, then press [Do it!]
- [*IDE02001*] [Body height left front wheel house edge]
- [*IDE02002*] [Body height right front wheel house edge]
- [*IDE02003*] [Body height left rear wheel house edge]
- [*IDE02004*] [Body height right rear wheel house edge]
See the above table for standard values
7) Select - [Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [*IDE03762*] [Calibrate level control] - Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to end, [Finished correctly/Not Running], then press [Stop], [Go Back]
(Vehicle may lower/raise)
8) Select - [Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [*IDE03751*] [Activate level control] - Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to end, [Finished correctly/Not Running], then press [Stop], [Go Back], [Close Controller]
Quality check and house keeping:
A.) Measure the ride height again and verify the values are within 3mm of the displayed values in Advanced Measuring Value Blocks.
B.) Using the MMI verify the following setting -
- Air Spring Wheel Change = [off]
C.) Ignition Key On/Off Cycle must be completed.
D.) Clear ALL fault codes and re-check for fault codes, road test vehicle.

- You may have one or more of the fault codes listed below...
Tech Tips:
- If you notice one (or more) of the Air Spring Strut(s) is taking longer to fill or bleed and/or the compressor appears to be working harder, it is possible the "Residual pressure valve" on the Air Spring Strut is restricted/stuck closed or partially closed.
The "Connection piece for air pipe with residual pressure valve" is Not available separately from the manufacture and they say the Air Spring Strut must be replaced as a complete assembly. (However... Some customers report it is possible to drill our the valve, we of course do not recommend to do this.)

- Modification to ride height may be possible, for example adding to the measured value would lower the suspension because the level control system thinks the ride height it too high. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
- We do not suggest anyone to make changes to the standard ride heights!
- Users may post their 'tweaking ride height' questions here, in the Ross-Tech forum, Tweaks section.
