Hi,
I know of the possible tweaks you can do to turn on the MFD if you have left steering controls and retrofitting for the right as well. Problem is I only have an SE without convenience so I'd have to either get a new wheel or retrofit the module and airbag etc. to be able to toggle through MFD functionality. I also know you can turn it on in VagCom anyway and when your low gas light comes on it will switch to miles left and never return to temperature. I'd really like to have the full functionality (~MPG, trip time, miles left etc.) but without retro-fitting for several $100. Is there not a way to overwrite the cruise control set/reset buttons on the left turn signal stock to allow for toggling through the MFD? Seems like the buttons aren't in use when cruise control isn't on but even if it were and I lost that functionality I'd be fine with it.

Thanks!

If you can reverse engineer steering module software than maybe.
