Greetings:

I recently purchased the HEX-NET and attempting to use with my iPhone 5s/iPad mini (using VCDS-mobile version 1.0.0). I'm unable to use my home wifi - the application sees my network but it won't let me connect to it.

I ran the autoscan with the ignition on but the vehicle not running; it comes up with an error with 03-ABS Brakes. A warning box appears about adding the missing data later, however; no option appears after the scan completes . . .

I have a 2011 & 2014 JSW TDI w/pano roof & navigation; hoping to use the HEX-NET to stave off trips to the dealership. I do most of my own maintenance on the 2011 . . . I've had the 2014 for a week so I haven't screwed up anything yet ;-)

Thanks! I'm unable to get the update on VCDS-mobile; it displays the following:

Gots to be connected to the interwebs to update

First thing to do, is clear all those DTCs and see what comes back.

Not liking the battery voltage on the '14 - call me the voltage police.

There is nothing in Ross-Tech Wiki but I would think.

VAG Error Code: 9456681
EODB II Error Code: B104C

Fault Location:
Key - Implausible Signal

Possible Cause:
Key/Remote Control battery faulty/discharged.

Key not programmed.

Possible Solutions:
Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).
Check how many keys have been programmed.

What would you recommend to maintain the battery while running the VCDS?

I finally figured out how to get the INFRASTRUCTURE mode to work on my iPhone via the HEX-NET and I believe I now have the latest updates. I hope to spend some of this Labor Day weekend learning how to use VCDS on my two JSWs - that means spending more time on this site and reading through the FAQs!!!

For the cars in your sig? A 10 decent 10 amp charger should be OK, especially if you turn off various current consumers in your car.

(Some will ague with me, but the proof is in whether it will maintain voltage).
