P/N is correct for this CCM.
Are the remotes new from dealer, or somewhere else?

I'm starting to also think, that CCM is bad.
Btw your CCM superseeds to 1C0959799C 08a

Remotes are 2 factory remotes and 2 i got new off ebay and were ordered by the part # form OEM remotes. i am thinking the same thing about the CCM, where can i get one other than Dealer? as far as coding one, do i just code it with the "00258" code? or is there other coding i will need to do?

Something looks suspicious there. For example this scan clip is from a NAR 2003 Jetta 1.8T:

Subsystem 4 - Part No: 1C0959812A

-------------------------------------

The full part number in my example is 1C0-959-799-C-01H and yours would be 1C0-959-799-C-01G but all 4 door control modules (each of the window motors) are missing from the sub-system line up in the scan you posted. Based on that and the remote control issue I also suspect something may be flaky with your #46 module.

Edit, I missed this:

I have a whole bunch of brand new ( 1C0-959-799C Index 008/08A SW 025 HW026 ) units in overstock.
According to etka fits a ton of stuff............

If it helps.........

Btw your CCM superseeds to 1C0959799C 08a

I agree guys. As far as I can tell 1C0-959-799-C-08A is the direct replacement so it may be best to order a new one with known index code from Jack or your local supplier rather than gamble with a used controller if a scan cannot be provided as golfi_vend suggested.

I have ran an auto scan several times and never has the info about the door modules shown up in any of them, also i have noticed that every once in a while my windows will not roll UP with the "one touch" feature. most of the time they will work correctly, but not always.they always work in the one touch feature in the down position, tho.
Could i be having issues with the door modules that might be adding to the comfort control module issue?

picked up a used module from Ebay and here are the results. Everything is as it should be now! all my door modules show up in the auto scan and all my remotes programed as the should and are working correctly.

Now to deal with the Cat code 16804!

Good glad you got that cheap and were confident in the diagnosis to get a module.

Before you blow a ton of money on a CAT consider a programming update

Component: MOTRONIC ME7.1 G 0003 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< This is way behind.

Considering this is sporadic......... it maybe just what you need verse a new unit.

We can absolutely help you with that if interested with fast turn around or outright units for no down time.

I wanted to wait until you were sure you needed it and I only had the one part # I stated here.

I PM'd you here...........Didn't think I needed to.

verbatim........

Are you sure you need a CCM and have toned out the twisted pair to all door modules through the loop from CCM?
Have you verified this in WD?
I have part 1C0-959-799C /008 if that is the correct # you need it is $300 USD + freight you choose and a sell out item.

I didn't seem to be into the CCM right considering what eBay was getting for used units........was cheap.

The tunes that have been done don't support the update you need.
I only sell separate second spare ecu's with tunes.
This is done so that I know you have one for off road use, ( plug and play ) and one for the street that complies with emissions and VCDS can be used correctly for a true diagnostic stack.

Updates are a standard fee of 250 USD + 40 Freight for insurance and signature.
We could sell you a package deal for something I am sure.

I apologize if I didn't email you back fast enough.......Really wanted to be sure you needed it.
Many times I have seen a CCM changed and it wasn't bad.......

It's all good,i very much appreciate your input and help,I was kinda weary of replacing the CCM because of the weird ways it was acting, it has been several years since i have been a VW/AUDI tech on a daily basis, so you Guys have helped my alot in correcting the issues i have had with my personal vehicle. I will be interested in getting a ECM module from you that will help with my Cat issue, and possibly help make my car alittle more fun to drive!
Thanks, Again and i will be talking with you soon.
Chris

I am also having problems programming the key fob to the car. When I bought the car they only had the valet key and another key that looked like the valet key but it had the master cut. So instead of going to some random site for the key I went to the dealership and bought the exact key that they said I needed. After they paired the key to the immobilizer they tried to pair the remote but were unable to. They said they would have to get into the diagnostics which could take all day so I said I would take it home and try with VCDS. When I scanned the block for the CCM, it gave me code 01179. I cleared the code and followed the steps to pair the remote but it just keeps throwing the same code. At this point I think the CCM might be bad cause I've also had problems with the driver window almost forgetting how to auto close. Any feedback would be awesome though cause if I need a new one the junkyard is 10 minutes down the road.
