Can someone tell me if my unit RLS is coded incorrectly? When I have my lights on Auto they come on but never shut off when it's daylight out or bright outside. I do have my car coded to Scandanavian DRL's enabled - not sure if that affects the AUTO lights feature or not.

As far as I know in Scandanavia the law requires the lights on at all times irrespective of day/night

Try disabling that - and I'm sure it will start working.

If you get stuck I can post my Golf RLS settings

I'll give it a try later this morning and report back my findings.

Turned off the Scandinavian DRLs. RLS does not turn auto lights off when ambient light is detected. I might add that the CH/LH feature has always worked despite the ambient light sensor not telling the dipped beam lights to shut off in daylight.

@Muzchap if you would be so kind to post your coding so that I can compare.

Mind posting your Golf RLS settings? Or anyone else who can share their factory coding.

My glorified Golf Wagon (i.e. Alltrack :) ) used that BCM with factory RLHS config:

Rain Light Recognition Sensor:
Subsystem 2 - Part No SW: 5Q0 955 547 B HW: 5Q0 955 547 B Labels: 5Q0-955-547.CLB
Component: RLHS 042 0105
Serial number: S2Y16M07D27H22M38S53
Coding: 00A8DD

00A8DD is shown in this random scan from Jef as well: http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?8464-2017-Golf-Alltrack-1-8T-CXBB

If it matters my car has a green tint glass. I'm honestly not sure if that's special but it looks nice with the white paint color.
