No, it is not a boat trailer just an ordinary one. I will have to check the socket seal for moisture, since it has two cables attached in one socket with a single cable gasket (rubber sealing ring).

The trailer harness is a factory installed harness. The trailer hitch was never used before I started using it. The problem is in my trailers lights (backed it up to a rock a couple years back, never got it to work properly after that).
