In the UK the LT3 was branded as the Crafter. The Crafter Mk2 (2017-on) is pure VAG, and works fine. The LT3 / Crafter Mk1 ('06-'16) is a horrible VW/MB mish-mash, and some modules (notably ABS/ESP on some models) cannot currently be covered with VCDS.

Yes, Win11 still has MSConfig. Safe mode - works OK! So that would suggest there's something else running that's interfering. Selective startup with all non-MS services and all startup items disabled still hangs :( I don't understand how it only affects V2, not HN though :confused:

Hmm, we're seeing oddities here. With a HEX-V2: - VCDS hangs on the interface test (and never times out) - VCIConfig reports "Unable to open interface, it may be in use...", but then finds the S/N, and successfully updates the firmware (albeit repeating the error message during the updates)...

@topcat2006 We've dug out a (well-used) HEX+CAN interface. If you're willing to test that out on the Crafter and give feedback to Ross-Tech, we'll post that out on Monday to the same address you used for your HEX-V2 order. Is that ok with you?
