N276 fuel pressure regulator valve problem

Let me clarify some. When I stated that I don't have a clue where the 14pin round connector in the left side engine bay is. I mean I cannot physically find a 14 pin connector in the engine comparent. I opened the cover for the engine ecu and found no 14 pin connectors in their either. Ive...

N276 fuel pressure regulator valve problem

Ziddywerks. I believe its fixed. I put 100 miles on it since replacing the g247 and no codes have come up, totally free of codes. Even the headlight range control has "fixed itself" . Please note that chatgpt said that a module could send codes that conflict with other modules through the...

N276 fuel pressure regulator valve problem

Ziddywerks. The n290 fuel metering valve has no wires. All it is is a pressure relief valve. If the high pressure side becomes over pressurized this valve opens and let's pressure bleed back to the low pressure side. This all happens within the stainless lines connected to the hpfp. It just has...

N276 fuel pressure regulator valve problem

Above are 2 pics of my hpfp and I tried my best to get pics of the bottom . It's pretty zoomed on as in one pic you can see the "4" for the fuel injector wire. But I cannot see any wires on the bottom and there is absolutely no wires on the top.

N276 fuel pressure regulator valve problem

Yes. Based on the factory BKH wiring information, the component you're after is the Fuel Metering Valve N290, which VCDS is labeling as N276 for the P2294 fault. Portal Diagnostov +1 The relevant factory circuit is: Fuse S282 | | 12V (ignition on)...

N276 fuel pressure regulator valve problem

More conversation with chatgpt Thank you. The screenshot tells us something important. Your fault is: 008852 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276) P2294 - 009 - Open Circuit An open circuit is an electrical fault. The ECU is not complaining about fuel pressure being too low or too high. It is...

N276 fuel pressure regulator valve problem

More conversation with chatgpt On the BKH 3.2 FSI, the high-pressure pump itself is a purely mechanical pump driven by the intake camshaft. If your pump has no electrical connector, that's consistent with the design. The confusion comes from the fault description "Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve...

Hello, Im having a terriable time with a MIL on my 2007 audi a4 with a 3.2 engine. The MIL is P2294. Sounds simple right? So I use chatgpt AI for assistance and it tells me that the fuel pressure regulator vaalve commonly fails because of broken wires near the plug. OK makes sense. Then I...

OK, just to follow up and close this thread. Service interval is set for 5k miles. 5k total is reached and the service indicator lights up as its supposed to. Oil is changed and service indicator is reset. Now driving during the next 5k and the abs unit causes a mil light. I replaced the abs...
