You could be right but not sure..the MMI just intermittently shuts down and restart by itself. I cleared previous errors memory in autoscan but still no go.. I just dont know where to start troubleshooting. Would lack of vehicle use cause such problems, you know?

Hi I can see you are relatively new here. This forum uses diagnosis scan results to help out a lot, real time good ideas members provide but I dont see one from you. Can you provide such scan results for better assistance?

Radio suddenly stopped working..all fuses including one behind radio checks out ok. Power supply and ground all present. Gateway and Telephone both reports No communication from radio unit. Is there a repair solution than replacement of radio unit? Any helpful economic ideas/inputs appreciated...

The fuses inside the car, you need to test all of them and make sure they are tight fit..did you post your electrical and optical test results?

I would say test the vap purge solenoid valve N80 for leaks..or is possible replace it and recheck. At almost 140000 km its possible this valve isnt holding well.

Thats correct but one more thing: with the bypass loop in place try and take readings at each stage and post them here so members can have a complete picture of car situation for some helpful inputs.

Alright so would the interface upgrade also fix the service reset issue raised earlier?
