All, can I assume this fault refers to the electronic unit on the back of the turbo's. It has partnumber 805713-0008 & serialnumber RE400336 printed on it. I looks as if it is just mounted with 3 bolts to the turbo but not sure if a lot more is involved in setting it up once a new unit would be...

To be honest Uwe, I don't think the EGR part is correct. It needs pressure to go from the exhaust side to the intake side which is at lower pressure, so it takes exhaust even from before the turbo. I know for a fact that it will certainly not take it from behind the DPF as I had a problem before...

In limp mode? The actual goal was to save the dpf and mount a straight through most of the year to only put the dpf in place when having to pass tech inspection. I know this is not legal, but they're hunting the diesels down here right now. And the dpf of a bitdi is superexpensive to replace.

Don't know what happened but while trying to go into safe mode, the laptop blocked and I had to reset it. It now seems to work. Hope it stays that way.

All, After discussing with Uwe I redid it and this time when entering each value for the height I waited a little while and then went back with the 'go back' option. It then retained the entered value and now it works again. Thanks.

Hi Uwe, Thanks a million for your help. I redid it to every last letter. Seems that after entering each value, you have to let it have some time to sync and then press go back. Now it accepted the values and the faults are gone.

Hi Uwe, is there anyone you can ask? I won't use the reset adaptions, but I'll need to resolve this. Is there no way I can roll back the permanently disable?
