I havent asked to be honest, assuming that because its European legislation that seems to have made it mandatory to have the audible speed warning on cars since 2024, that they wouldnt entertain it? Its not like I want it disabled, just default the sound to be off, seeing as I can turn it off...

Fair comment PetrolDave, but I have a generic diagnostic tablet that runs most of the other stuff for me, but I can't change default settings like this with it unfortunately. This issue must be driving someone else round the bend too? Can't just be me lol

I was really hoping someone else would have managed to do it, if someone has, I would buy a VCDS in an instant. But its a big gamble to buy it otherwise

Im afraid I dont have a VCDS yet, fixing these defaults would be my reason to buy one

Hi All, is VCDS able to change the default settings for Lane Assist and Audible speed warnings, to remember the last setting when starting the car. Every single time I start the car I have to switch both off manually, and it's more of a distraction than a safety feature. Wanting to buy VCDS...
