I have downloaded the TPI from erwin Audi and i wondered if we are permitted to post these on here for anyone else who might have this problem? Thought i had better ask becasue we might not be able to without causing legal issues. Gaz

Sorry...perhaps i didn't adequately phrase the question. What i should have said is they look the same but relate to different cyl numbers in a lot of cases and what i was getting at was whether the 2 ecus are the same and they detect which bank they have been plugged in to and work out for...

Hi all, After a week on the healing bench, the Bentley must have decided it was going to be nice to me and it started straight up on Friday with no issues at all. That's not to say there is nothing wrong...because.... I removed the passenger side seat and carpet (UK car) and the under carpet...

Car back, all scanned and no fault codes present. They changed A NOx sensor but the lady on reception couldnt tell me which one other than 'Bank 1'...which i am not sure means much as i dont know if it was pre or post cat. Either way....all OK for now....will come back if the fault ever comes...

Update from garage. They have determined that it is a NOx sensor at fault (not sure which one pre or post Cat and will find out when i collect it). Car not going to be ready until Friday-ish as they are waiting for the new sensor to be delivered (Bosch one apparently) which should be fine as i...

Progress update...and the plan... I have got wiring diagrams for what i hope are the relevant circuits - both starter and main battery diagrams from the batteries to the engine ECUs and the injectors, and KESSY system. Will take some time over the next couple of nights to understand these...

One of the ECUs has a rusty screw on the bottom but not actually 'wet'. The plugs on both ECUs are clean, dry and the pins are dry, intact and not damaged.

Sorry - but i have a -perhaps daft - question: On my scan for Engine i have 19 codes and on Engine II i have 19 more codes - does Engine and Engine 2 relate in any way to the Engine ECU numbers? - or are they the same faults in both? Does that make sense? I will be back later with the wiring...
