Is there a way to check this in VCDS? Also goes back to my previous comment about the oil change. I've seen a few outside threads/reddit posts of people saying an oil change seemingly fixed theirs. But I'm unsure the "science" behind that.

I'm not sure how to check for a current drain. I know the battery gauge would consistently read around 14v when no issues came about. I suppose I could try swapping the battery again since it's under warranty still. It's supposed to be a 900 cold crank/1000 crank amps battery.

I've owned it since 2022 with 165649 mi, so I've barely put 10k miles on it. I realize that doesn't mean much since I don't know when the belt was last serviced. Something else to consider. :rolleyes:

I've been suspecting a dying alternator, but from what I understand VCDS can't test it directly. Today I did a full scan on my '06 Touareg (4.2L V8) and it seems like every module is either indicating a lower than expected voltage, or some Intermittent issue. For context, the reason I don't...
