You could always log peak / drop off boost and compare it with factory one.

I don't know how the clutch message "operates" but if the car first checks if its able to crank then for the clutch you wouldn't see it. I'm saying this because it could possibly be a false lead you'd lose too much time on.

Issue has been rectified with a pair of good used camshafts. Old cams did have some wear and tear but also huge scratch marks on the front of the shaft which I assume were from a plier wrench or something similar, so my guess is that someone with his ham fists physically damaged the vvt mechanism.

To be able to reset start/stop counter you need to have your car equipped with start/stop system. Is your car equipped with one?
