Nope. Seems that the only way to get SWAP/FEC activated is from a Dealer, and all my local Canadian dealers have no clue what I'm after. I guess I'll have to live without VW Media Control.

Downtime I found this adaptation in Gateway module 19. IDE08624-MKE Check box activated Would this suggest that I already have MKE / Driver Alert / Fatigue Detection working ? Anything else I should look for? I looked in all my modules, and I didn't find any other MKE adaptations.

Out of curiosity, what is the going rate to get a SWaP activated ?

I've had some confusion with the Valid/Invalid values. To see which codes are properly activated we have to go to the Engineering screen. Go back to the Service menu, and press the Software update / versions menu. Screen will go blank for a moment. Eventually you will get this Engineering...

Is there a way to see what functions are ‘protected by FEC’? What’s so mysterious about FEC / SWaP codes that some dealers won’t acknowledge that they exist?
