Vehicle Communications are f**ked MK5 Golf GTI

So I have a MK5 Golf GTI, with a lot of modifications. Recently I have changed to a TTRS fuel pump but I doubt that is the issue. The vehicle cranks, starts and then dies like a second after.
I am having a nightmare with this car and I have built it in the summer only for it to be standstill after about a week of use, but never occurred to have any of these errors regarding the communications.

These were the engine codes when the vehicle was in working order, with some issue regarding the alarm and rear doors not working properly.
00821 - antenna 2 for radio R93 open circuit
01334 - door control module rear right no signal/communication
01135 - interior monitoring sensors no signal
01134 - Alarm horn no signal
00931 - locking module for central locking rear rigght
00930 - locking module for central locking rear left
01314 - engine control module no signal
01333 - ecu left rear door no signal
00883 ignition switch D electrical problem in circuit intermittent
01305 - databus for infotainment no signal
01320 - climatronic ecu no sigal
05634 - power supply voltage 30 p1602 lower limit reached
05635 - inter control module failed self

Since then, it has died and I purchased a VCDS. (Scan will be below) However, I asked one of the FB groups and said it was the BCM that may be faulty, changed this and it worked for a full 2 days. I understand that it is something to do with the communications but I do not understand what, and where to go from here. If anyone could possibly help me that would be wonderful. I just want to drive my car!

Gateway complains about two different CAN buses. I'm not usually quick to fire the parts cannon, but if this were mine, I think I'd try swapping out the GW. They're pretty common/cheap.

I have just changed the original CAN gateway to 1K0 907 530 AD very recently, I should have included that into the main text of this post. Unless there is another that I am missing.

Well, if the Gateway isn't the problem then I think you're going to need to attack this with a wiring diagram and a meter. Check power on the modules that "Cannot be reached". Check continuity of the CAN bus pair between those modules and the GW.

Gateway coding may be something I'll have a look into. I thought it was weird that I have 4WD randomly. But I'll check the coding and unplug the ABS module when I have some time off tomorrow hopefully.

The TTRS fuel pump is this one TTRS Fuel Pump, I had spoken to R-Tech performance and they previously said it was a straight swap, no need for coding or remap. I'll change this back to the standard fuel pump and reinstall the TTRS one later when I get my car sorted and ready for a remap.

My other worry was a mk6 climate control install, even though it has been installed correctly, I think the communicational error with the CAN gateway may be stopping it.

So I unplugged the ABS, and it didn't help at all. I was hoping that it was that due to so many suggestions. However, I moved my ECU around a little and tried starting the car. It didn't start but the fan went :ROFLMAO: "Hello bish, the car is hot af". So I unplugged the battery and moved the ECU again, it started but failed to communicate with other modules etc. So it's defiantly going to be a wire issue by the looks of things. So hopefully when I get some time away from Uni, that'll be perfect but I'm on my last year and my dissertation is due in soon. However, I will definitely keep this area updated!

Fans normally come on when the FCM looses comms with the ECU. Or sees a ECU thats not adapted to the vehicle. I would check Can communication via MVB or IDE channels see what its doing. I would also take a close look a J519 as they were notorious for failing in those vehicles however Checking fuses would be my first step and Verifying none of those modules are on the same circuit or on the cams can bus branch. If so dirty overlay and go from there.

I recently changed the engine from AXX to CDL just before winter in the UK, so it couldn't have been there unless it would have been hiding in the engine lmao

I'm going to download the wiring diagram and check all the connections again.

It may be this, but I'll need to test it out another day. University is killing most of my time but it's a start. Only just noticed this, as I'm pretty sure the wire harness is wrapped in plastic electrical tape rather than the standard cloth type. Unless its normally like that, not entirely sure.

She runs! So I believe that the J500 is faulty, does anyone have any more information regarding the continuation of a fix. Disconnected the power steering wire seen in the video, I believe that is the reason for the powertrain having communication issues. I still had the ABS module unplugged but I will plug this in tomorrow and rescan it. It starts every time now, but I want to be 100% before I drive it anywhere.

I had a little break from university course work to reconnect the ABS control module and test if the car would start again which it did thankfully. So I printed off a wiring diagram for the power steering control module and investigated the resistance for CAN HI/LOW. Unfortunately the resistance shows that the control module is fuck*d (video of resistance, nothing exciting) , thankfully I am planning to do a anti-roll bar performance upgrade soon. Am I correct in answering if I were to get the Gen 3 steering rack and loom. I would be able to code it in quite easily?
