Hi all, I've searched other threads regarding this issue, but nothing seems to cover this exact problem (solutions have worked for the others which haven't for me). 2007 Jetta, MKV, 2.5l Automatic
I upgraded my head unit with an RCD330 and replaced the basic steering wheel to a MK6 with radio controls
Radio, works fine. Steering wheel buttons, horn and lights work fine.
I'm getting yellow steering wheel and ABS warning lights and steering seems like it has no power steering.
I replaced the CANBUS Gateway from 1K0 907 530 K to AD (for battery drain issue)
I replaced the Steering Wheel Control Module from 1K0 953 549 AP to CH (for steering wheel controls)
In VCDS under [44 Steering Assist], I used [Measure Blocks] but it doesn't register any steering wheel angle even though the steering wheel was being turned.
I've tried the method to turn wheel max left and hold 10 seconds, turn wheel max right and hold 10 seconds, drive 10 metres then repeat. That didn't work.
In VCDS I went to [44 Steering Assist], [Basic Setting] and block [060], but I cannot reset anything, it shows ERROR, not available (Imgur image won't load for some reason). Maybe this'll work?
I'm not sure what to do next, any suggestions will be appreciated. Code from this evening is shown below.
