I'm grasping at straws here, but the only thing I can think of is that there's something wrong with the way it's linked to your cloud account.

Are you able to log into your cloud account on the server?

Are you able to access cloud functions in VCDS-Mobile?

@Shaun any other ideas?

All I know from my end is that without the firewall enabled I can get good pings and the ports are open. I have no destination as far IP addresses. I just have my unadvertised IP address that actually tells me very little. Can you all see something on your end maybe?

BTW - I can view the scans on the cloud and download them to my desktop. Not much help - but that part works.

Can you try making a new log and uploading it, to make sure it's not something specific to that file? Did you make any debug logs of trying to upload?

I believe you have to be able to open the file and then download. I don't think you can do a straight download while it's just sitting there visible. But I will give it another shot in the morning.

I can open scan file from my car because that is a txt file.

Maybe I am confused but when I view the files on the HexNet I am on my phone or tablet. I don't think there is an option for right-click or save-as like on a mouse. That is the only way I have seen the files on the HexNet.

What kind of phone? On Android I know you can hold click and save as. Or you can open VCDS-Mobile from a browser on your PC.

Describe your setup when you are trying to upload these files, do you have the interface plugged into a vehicle or just via USB?

I have tried it 2 ways with the same results.
  1. Plugged into my vehicle connected via infrastructure mode
  2. Plugged into my PC (USB) connected via infrastructure mode
The debug file was run when using #2 plugged into the PC

Actually, the one I sent you was a second one I did right before the email I sent. I can do it again if you would like.

Can you describe what sort of network topology you have? What kind of router, did it come from your ISP? Do you have any sort of range extenders or other such devices?

I use my own router (EdgeRouter by Ubiquiti) in conjunction with Access Points (for wifi) with a few DLink GIG switches on the LAN. These devices sit behind a designated firewall.
