Just a quick update. It was the reverse camera unit itself that had failed and was causing the module to not be reachable :facepalm: New camera fitted and all is well again.

So I've tried another 5F module and the results are still the same. I'm now thinking it's possibly an ignition issue. Have briefly searched on here re ignition switches and S-contacts but will make a coffee and get properly researching tonight.

Hi Ewe, Yes I’ve checked and double checked all fuses today and still got the same result. I’ve checked and I can’t see any separate fuses for the multimedia system etc. I’m at a complete loss. My battery seems okay, though it is the original one and is 8 years old.
