okay so Pin 29 and earth with the Test light, just stays on permanently the light. I checked the pins and connector for corrosion. completely fine. I checked pin 1,2 brown wires. they are showing good Earth.

so pin 29 is on the ECU connector correct? nbv not sure what this is 12v+?? Is this the wire which goes to pin one in the sensor by any chance .to check the ECU earths like you saying, are these more wires going into the ECU? or talking about the ones which are outside on the ecu?
