Off 00001100 00000010
On 00101100 00000011
Set. Same. 00000111 the 111 turns to 011 when released
Resume. same. 00001011 the 1011 turns to 0011 when released.

These are the same numbers verified on my working 5 speed Passat cruise control and my Toyota with the VW conversion. Using a universal switch for the cruise activation and the factory VW Passat cluster to feed the ECU the vss signal. I have verified my ECU is reading the my speed. My tuner has stated the ECU should have my gear ratios input into the tune but I've not been informed if I can verify that or not with vcds.

Does anyone see any discrepancies with these values?

My brake(both) and clutch values in the 2nd box turn from 0 to 1 when pressed and then return to 0 when released.

No cel is showing.

My issue is the cruise will not activate.

Perhaps a keen eye for this system will explain this better to me. This vag com has more info in it than I'll ever be able to scratch the surface of .

Thank you guys ahead of time.

cruise off 00001000 00000010
cruise turned on 00101000 00000011
cruise turn on with clutch pressed 00101100 00000011. 1 goes back to 0 when clutch released
cruised turned on and brake pressed 00101011 0000011. 11 goes back to 0 when brake released
cruise turned on and ACCEL pressed 0010100 000001011. 1 goes back to 0 when button is released
cruise turned on and RES pressed 0010100 00000111. You guessed it 1 goes back to 0 when released.

I've verified these findings, all of them, are identical to my 5 speed converted b5.5 vw passat. I compared them twice just to be sure i didn't miss something. This is the last system to get functional in my BHW converted 1st gen 4 runner and its driving me mad not being able to figure it out.

Thanks for any help/pointers/assistance.

Henswerk universal cruise control purchased specifically for the throttle by wire TDI application. While I went cheap with my windows 7 lap top, I did splurge for this build. Making this even more frustrating to not have it function.

If I'm reading the breakdown of what each value represents, it appears the controller is functioning properly.

I will have to figure out how to post pics here but I have diagrams I can post showing the wiring from my dash/can as well as CC controller wiring. It goes as far as listing out the ECU pins of each.

Yeah, it looks like your ECU is seeing the switches but it also looks like it's unhappy about some of the CAN messages.

I will have to figure out how to post pics here
