I've had accumulator issue and have replaced it, but basic settings now is not running, and I get p073a error.

Any hints on what could be the cause before I remove everything again?

Did you remove the mechatronic from the transmission to do the accumulator repair? If yes, did you reset the selector cylinders and selector forks to their installation positions?

Is the hydraulic pump achieveing the working pressure of 60bar because there's still a relevant fault code present in the TCU? There's a firmware update to 6562 available for this TCU, which lowers the working pressure to 52bar.

I can give you the name but you'll have to find it on your own - https://vag-flashinfo.de/index.php?partno=v069R8620AM Before flashing, check TCU MVB 41 if the four last letters in the string (LgR8) match with the firmware file.

When you remove the mechatronic, check for the condition of shifting forks and if everything is in it's place - perhaps a plastic piece has fallen off and the fork doesn't move properly.
