Audi Q3 2017 Hold Hill Assist Indicator Lamp

Hi Guys,

Just retrofitted a HHA switch and was able to get it working by coding the 03- ABS Brake module.

Byte 18 was coded from 34 (00110100) to 36 (00110110).

Everything works fine and Hill Assist works as it is meant to. However, I cannot find any information on how to get the GREEN indicator lamp (P) in the instrument panel?

VCDS doesn't have any labels for the module so I am blind in knowing which Byte would enable the indicator lamp?

In the measuring section I can see rest of HHA functions working apart from the 'Indicator' lamp showing OFF?

Any help would be appreciated please?

@NEtech do I need to recalibrate something? After changing the code am getting the above Vacuum sensor error even if I go back to the original code.

I haven't driven the car much but I am expecting the ABS lights to come on dash from reading one of the forums.

It comes back after clearing the code, however no errors on Dashboard as yet

I tried all 3 long coding's suggested by NEtech.

I have the previous version of long coding saved so will revert back and try the individual bytes.

Ok I had to change Byte 6 to E3 AND Byte 15 to C7 at the same time otherwise you will get 'Request out of range' error.

I can see the green 'P' again now. Tested it on a short drive and can still see the green 'P' lit up on dash when Hold assist is activated

However I am still seeing this error

Guys should I be worried about the error for Vacuum sensor? I am not sure if the change of coding has caused this?

Guys should I be worried about the error for Vacuum sensor? I am not sure if the change of coding has caused this?

And i guess that the Vacuum Sensor Error in ABS is related to the Vacuum Sensor needed in Gasoline Engines.
