Hi,
The fault I want to diagnose and repair relates to the air suspension. A light comes on on the dash, warning me there is an issue with the system. The thing is, the air suspension seems to be working just fine, it rises up and down with no problem, even with this fault light coming on. And the fault seems to happen when I go over a bump. I can drive 40 miles on a smooth road and no fault light comes on, then I hit a pothole and the light comes on.
According to repeated VAG-COM tests, the issue is the Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G341). Each time the warning light comes on I use VagCOm to run a test then I reset the DTC codes. Next time I check the fault it's the same thing begin reported - Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G341)
How/where do I run a test on the Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G341)? I can see within the Level COntrol system there are tests I can run, but they are for things like the height of each corner, the pressure valves etc, but I see nothing for Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G341).
Also, would you suggest just buying a new Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G341) and swapping it out? According to Erwin it looks like a fairly easy swap, remove the front wheel liner then easy access to the sensor.
