The sender on the tank should have 4 wires. Brown and green pair for level sender to dosing unit. Brown/grey + red/grey to ECU. Is that the sort of info that you wanted?

BTW, while tracking that down I saw a few messages about software updates being needed on some units to avoid false errors on levels, etc. Might be worth checking what's on your controller.

I was hoping for an actual schematic with pin outs in the different connectors so I could verify no issues with the harness.
Did you go to erWin and pay the small fee to get the schematics?

Bring a nice sized flash drive along. The wiring diagrams are in pdf and can be saved.

I've used it on every VAG vehicle I've owned to download every document relevant to the vehicle onto my NAS drive, it's proved invaluable for research into retrofits and problem solving.
