Polo 6r Address 44: Steering Assist

Hi, I'm new in here. I have used vag-com a little but not much.
I got this car on my shop, with defective j500, no communication with j500.
I changed the pump, and now the powersteering works a bit but it is not good and the yellow steering wheel in instrument stil lightning.

I have tried to change the coding but it falls back to 00140 all the time.

now the car dont have fail cods in 44 (light stil lightning in instrument) but som times it missing signal fron g269 and this car dont have the sensor.

What can i do?

it loses the code when i go out of 44. when i go back in its 00140 again.

update your VCDS to 18.2
check fuse 26
try coding it again to 11241 or 01241 or 01240
as long as the coding has the 01 in it instead of 12 it will give you the error 00618

now whith the new update 18.2. it got new fail code in 44. The car dont have G250.

and the codings jumps straigth back to 00140 after change.

yes i check the fuse, cant se anything wrong.
Yes when i put in the coding it is writhing the code, but when i leave the address 44 and go back in its 00140 again.

Are you sure 6Q0423156AB is a proper replacement for your car? What was the part number of the original pump? do you still have it?

that was the pump i got, on the old one it was writet 6R0423156C... yes i still have the pump.

OK well what I can quickly find is, that AB comes in the Polo 9N based cars. You on the other hand have a Polo 6R. Maybe that's why it's not accepting, since the part is not compatible.
