I have tried to modify my Seat Toledo 2016, but when I try codding I get this error, do you know what it is?:confused:



As I mentioned I need a code, but what code I enter?.

I have very similar parts in my Polo 6C1, and the code I use is 31347, but that is only the code for Adaptations, and is not relevant for Coding.
For Coding/Helper you'll have to wait until a Label file is ready for your car.

What interests me is the label file for my engine which is the same as yours. Yet yours has the label file, and my does not.
Why is that? Can I use that same label file?

OK tnx, I'd like to do that to see what's on the menu.

I seem to remember how to do this with old Vag-Com versions 40X & .lbl files, BUT since this is a .clb file, I'm lost :)

Any help or pointer to a procedure would be appreciated.

Since this is a UDS ECU, there's nothing in that label file except for coding info, and ECU coding really shouldn't be changed.

But if you want to play, you can make a copy of 04E-907-309-V1.clb, drop it into the User sub-folder, and rename it to: 04E-906-027-LJ.clb.
I'm actually not 100% certain this will work, but there's no harm in trying.

Hehe, already did it. Decided that it's not nuclear physics, did the same as with old .lbl files and got the helper menus.

It works and there is not much to see :)

Btw, I am looking for a way to permanently disable Start/Stop system

You should be able to do so using the same adaption as for the Golf MK7, changing start/stop voltage level in the Gateway adaptions.

Tnx for the tip, that did the trick.

I tried before to disable S/S via temperature adaptation, but that seems to be disabled on my model, because any new value entered was not accepted, with "Value out of range" message.

Adapting 10V instead default 7.6V disables Start/Stop, but with a message in Infotainment: "Vehicle power consumption is high".

Edit:

Went for a drive and noticed a side effect of this method. It somehow messes with engine's power management on Polo 6C1. Normally battery is not charged during acceleration, but only on deceleration, to save as much fuel as possible and assist in braking.
Now, with this setting, this management is not working. Since it "thinks" that "Power consumption is high" it permanently charges the battery with 14.9V, as on a regular engine with flat battery...

Since this tweak does not satisfy me, it's back to the drawing board :)

Hello again,

I know that it is not advisable to mess around with Engine ECU, but I just had to try if this label works on my Polo. So I changed coding for manufacturer from VW to Audi, as that seemed to me benign enough. It worked and now I have an Audi engine :)
