I am using a DIY version of the calibration board made of white 15 mm conti board with a vinyl perimeter of 50mm black tape and black vinyl circles , I am beginning to wonder if it's because my car is an executive and sits 15mm lower from the factory than a normal b7 however it is coded for the lowest camera height

    Thank you

I had this on my CC several years ago. Calibration would always fail. What I had to do was place chairs around the calibration board with dark blankets over them to put the board in shadow. Calibration worked first time after this.
My presumption was that the camera was seeing reflections on the board from the sun which it didn't like.
