Hello! so my name is Donald, I am driving a 2009 VW Rabbit/golf, 2.5cyl, Gas, hatch.
my ABS control module failed recently((1K0907379AD), so I replaced it with the revised version (1K0907379AN). I really need a code for this thing..
I was unable to pull my old code because the way the module failed, though I have heard that the old code would not work for My car this particular instance.
does anyone have any suggestions?
I have tried using a code from a similar rabbit, with the same module/pump that I had/have , with no luck. was told when he tried it, it never said "code accepted" , so when he tried to do the calibration tests directly after, they would not stick? though he never drove it anywhere either. I have his code number and will probably try it again myself tomorrow. So this is my daily driver, not to mention I really enjoyed driving this car before these lights came on, i just want it to go back to normal haha.. Does anyone have any ideas? can help? Greatly appreciated.
