Sorry for the confusion.. I have replaced the dead abs module with another.. And am able to communicate with the replacement module.

That is a used module, and it looks like your car would come with part number 1K0-907-379-AD. Please read over the following:

The 1K0-907-379-BG is from a newer production run vehicle than your 2009. Not to be a jerk about this... but I'm not inclined to dig into this knowing a mismatch part has been installed. :(

IMHO, the Germans love to play a game called "lets make this the same as yesterday, but completely different" or something to that effect... hence the need to have correct part numbers installed. :p
