i'll do some brainstorming...

eBKV = elektronischer Bremskraftverstärker (wtf is the english translation...idk lol)
MO_StSt = Motor Start-Stop??
AGA = Abgasanlage (exhaust)
Freilauf = ...sailing fr automatic transmission
MO = Motor
GE = Getriebe (Transmission)
AEB = Automatic emergency Brake
MXB = Matrix Beam

I think there should be some VAG acronym rap song. Can RT recruit Eminem?

I'm looking for: ASW

Crash repaired NAR 2018 Q5 with ASW_HMI_defekt:

Code:
Address 3C: Lane Change (J769) Labels:* None
   Part No SW: 80A 907 566     HW: 80A 907 566
   Component: MRR1Rear      H18 0420
   Revision: --------
   Coding: 0EC002
   ASAM Dataset: EV_RearRadarS1BoschAU736 001022
   ROD: EV_RearRadarS1BoschAU736.rod

1 Fault Found:
1192187 - Databus
          U1123 00 [009] - Received Error Message
          [databus error value received - ASW_HMI_defekt]
          Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
             Freeze Frame:
                    Fault Status: 00000001
                    Fault Priority: 6
                    Fault Frequency: 1
                    Reset counter: 104
                    Mileage: 23715 km
                    Date: 2019.03.19
                    Time: 10:45:05

                    Control Module temperature: 27 °C
                    Voltage terminal 30: 12.10 V
                    Vehicle speed: 0.00 km/h
                    Terminal 15 status: On
                    Voltage terminal 15: Measured value not available
ASW is used in Exp coding charts for modules such as Address A5 and it makes numerous FF appearances in Andy's A3 e-tron after a flat 12V battery. The only other DTC in this car is:
Code:
Address BC: Door Rear Pass (J389) Labels:* None
   Part No SW: 4M1 959 795 B    HW: 4M1 959 795 B
   Component: TSG HBFS006 0737
   Coding: 000D0B000000148040000020
   ASAM Dataset: EV_DCU2RearPasseMAXHKLO 001010
   ROD: EV_DCU2RearPasseMAXHCONT.rod

1 Fault Found:
196887 - Function Lighting for Exit Warning LED
          B1791 01 [009] - Electrical Failure
          Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
             Freeze Frame:
                    Fault Status: 00000001
                    Fault Priority: 5
                    Fault Frequency: 1
                    Reset counter: 104
                    Mileage: 23715 km
                    Date: 2019.03.19
                    Time: 10:44:58

We will advise them to fix the known rear door problem but I don't think that's gonna help. HMI = History Memory Information so ASW might clear things up if anyone can help.

Automatic Lane Change maybe? You're in 3C after all...

SWA = Spurwechselassistent
So ASW = auto Spur Wechsel?

I think Audi knows how to safely steer to change lanes instead of just warn of traffic in your blind spot, using fusion of data from the forward camera, rear radar, and maybe side ultrasonic sensors.

HMI may also mean Human Machine Interface, think infotainment user interface. See references like SportHMI referring to the infotainment performance monitor on GTI and R.

I'd guess that error to mean a config mismatch between 5F, A5, 3C and maybe 10.

Edit: front ACC radar might be involved in the fusion as well, so check 13.

I'm going to revise my answer:

Actually I bet it will!

Code:
Address BC: Door Rear Pass (J389) Labels:* None
...
196887 - Function Lighting for Exit Warning LED

Code:
Address 3C: Lane Change (J769) Labels:* None
...
1 Fault Found:
1192187 - Databus
          U1123 00 [009] - Received Error Message
          [databus error value received - ASW_HMI_defekt]

That's Audi Vehicle Exit Assist. Warns you if you're trying to open your door into traffic or bicycles or whatnot. One of your customer's door exit warning LEDs is busted. Those being the human-machine interface for Exit Assist feature, 3C is warning you the feature functionality is impaired.

Looking for: TSK

It comes up in some CAN messaging. I believe it'll have something to do with drivetrain coordination, possibly with Haldex engagement.

So you gave yourself the answer: drivetrain coordination

Should the term " FeC " be included into the forum lexicon-perhaps?

How about enshrining " AFS " into the forum's Funk-and-Wagnalls (which I understand to be an American thing) as something like "Advanced Frontlighting System - initials for the cornering light CAN bus"?

And, while thinking about headlight related stuff, how about the inclusion of " FLA " with words like "Main Beam Assist - assistance system which supports the driver when changing from main beam to low beam"

Newbie Question: Meaning of Acronym DSL (in 05 ACC/Start Auth. adaptation context)

I know it’s probably a dumb newbie question - I’ve searched the Forum(s) and just haven’t found the meaning of acronym “DSL” as used in the following adaptation lines. I don’t really think it refers to Diesel fuel or Digital subscriber line in this context - likely something else, in German ofcourse. Anybody?

05 Acc/Start Auth. –

ENG129021-ENG103289-internal_passive_entry_exit_byte2-Passive Entry Exit: control by pulling door handle during active DSL

ENG129015-Passive Entry Exit: control by pulling the doorhandle during active DSL_timeout

Hey TW

After have a look through all the info and Acronyms I have, I cant find anything but your right in saying that the oonly time it apears is in the door locking section.

So Im taking a stab at it and it could be Delayed Self Lock, or it could be something to do with the proximity locking, Distance Safe Lock.

Im still a little unsure on the whole Term "passive" with regards to enty / exit. Can anyone explain that to me?

I hope I helped a little TW.

Thanks DiegotheCat. Good guesses, as good as mine - Door Slam Lock; it might be related to another line in O5 ACC/Start Auth.:

ENG129020-ENG126975-internal_passive_entry_exit_byte1-passive_exit_door_slam_lock

I believe the term Passive, in this context, refers to the locking feature being automatic, but I'm still guessing here to.
