VW LT35

Hi guys, I'm planning on adding cruise to my 06 LT35. With this being a mash up between VW and Mercedes will VCDS be able to enable cruise on the ecu?

The ECU in an LT35 is VW. So in principle, VCDS should be able to do that. But the ONLY modules in an LT35 that are VW are the ECU and the Immo. Everything else is MBZ and uses old-school MBZ protocols that VCDS doesn't support at all. So if enabling cruise in this truck involves dealing with any other modules, then the answer is is probabl no....

Your favorite search engine should fine several forum posts on the mechanical and electrical side of things, as far as the enabling goes - the standard cruise control login works fine. If you need further instructions, please post an Auto-Scan.
