I have a Blue GT with powered folding mirrors & rvc.Is it possible to activate passenger mirror tilt when in reverse gear?BCM PQ26 Hi4R H0 7 0065.
Any advice would be appreciated.

On Audi's you move the adjustment dial from its centre position to the passenger side, see if that's the same on VW's.

I doubt anyone else can either since your Auto-Scan stops after 01-Engine.

Phil: what a very good question to ask -thankyou for doing so!

I also have a Polo 6R (as well as a Golf with titling mirror) and I was sufficiently intrigued by your question to do some research. According to the WD, the door equipment on a Polo is connected to the BCM whereas the Golf, which has reverse mirror tilt, has its own separate door control modules (which are only connected to the BCM via messages on the convenience CAN bus). This is confirmed by your autoscan which has a complete absence of any specific control modules related to the doors.

I guess that unlike the situation in a Golf, the BCM in a Polo could have added smarts for reverse mirror tilt, but I somehow doubt it.

Thanks for your research I to had the Golf & Scirocco with mirror tilt & looking at their scans I can now see your analysis.The 6C uses a totally diff.system but who knows someone out there may know away to activate the tilt but it does look doubtful.

Well, even after activating you sometimes still have to set the mirror position when dipped. If you never did that it wont move.

Lets assume it is supported:

- Start engine
- Put in reverse gear
- Turn mirror dial to 'R'
- Adjust the mirror downwards

Now, if you drive away and hit the door-lock threshold speed or you turn the dial back to anything else but 'R', the mirror should move back to its starting position. If it doesnt, well yeah...
