Mk7 Golf - CEB

Hi all..

My other half has a UK Mk7 Golf and the extremely frustrating (and IMO, dangerous) "City Emergency Braking" is fitted / enabled by default. Would VCDS enable me to disable this "permanently" for her?

Any info greatly appreciated.

I'm don't know enough to say whether CEB can be disabled at this time.

However, I'm curious why you find it frustrating and dangerous? It's only supposed to come into play very late (when a collision is imminent) and brake very hard. Does it incorrectly detect items as a collision threat that it shouldn't?
