Hi,

My question related to "what I can get" if I will retrofit my lights.

I know that the original light's are better. but my question is why should I retrofit something if for example the cheap xenon block from ebay make the same work ?

What the retrofit give me when I am installing the original Headlights with the Xenon module.
I mean, I cannot just put the lights and use it like the Chines Xenon ?

I am not talking about some bi-xenon that should much the triggers and etc with Drive assist or something
I am talking about Standard xenon lights (for example Skoda Octavia 2011)

Please understand my concernment

Thanks

What will it give you? Lights that don't dazzle/blind other drivers.

Is it possible to retrofit to some Aftermarket Xenon ?
Or it is should be only Original one ?

Is it possible? Of course it is. Is it a good idea? There are a number of reasons why I don't think so.

I am sorry but I think you didnt understand my question.

I am asking what exactly the recoding for xenon doing ? more power/ Consumption ?
What it will do if I will install a aftermarket one with such coding ?

I dont want my BCM fail because of this xenon (like it was on the previous one)

Thanks

Without having access to the specifications (or source code) for the software running inside the module, I don't think anyone can give you a truly authoritative answer to this question.

There is actually only one single thought which you have to take into account. Will the lights you retrofit be legal or not. Aftermarket HID are illegal - in the US as well as in Europe (which includes the UK). There is pretty much nothing else that you should even bother discussing. And just FYI, we have seen SEVERAL cases where aftermarket HIDs were that poorly designed that they managed totally unrelated control module to go up in smoke and flames - VW even put out a warning that certain defects are KNOWN to be caused by aftermarket HIDs and will not be covered under warranty...

Stop being cheap, either do it right or don't do it at all. Now, can we lock this topic please? :)
