Hello guys. I am working with colleagues car Seat Ibiza Mk3 6l 2003 1.2 which has a problem with remote control and I can't find what's wrong with the car. Car owner said that remote control stopped working after battery has been changed, so I was thinking that I just need to adapt the key. I watched a video how to adapt the key for 6L chassis and tried to do that with genuine vcds but something is wrong and I can't adapt the key. Firstly, I am going to 01-Engine later 46-Central Convenience. I type 00 and pressed save to delete all existing keys. Then I press UP to 01 and 1 key is already there. I pressed 2(New value) just in case and pressed save button. After that, i press unlock button and I can hear that some kind of relay clicks, i press second time and i can hear that relay clicks again. If i type new value 4 keys, relay clicks 4 times. I press done and i leave Central Convenience. After all procedure, I try remote control and it's not working. Sometimes I can hear relay click once just after programming the key, but it's not unlocking or locking the car.
PS. there is no confirmation from the car that key is recognised like in the ross tech video, but I can hear some kind of relay instead as I already said above.
